Data Deletion
Early Access. Last updated 14 October 2026. You are in control of your data, and you can do all of this yourself.
1. Take a copy first (optional)
Open Settings → Data → Export to download a JSON backup of everything in your workspace. You can restore it later with Import. Deletion cannot be undone, so export first if you might want your work again.
2. Delete from this device only
Settings → Data → Reset everything erases the local copy on the device you are using. It is immediate. If you were signed in with sync on, your cloud copy is untouched and will come back the next time you sign in.
3. Delete your account and cloud data
Settings → Data → Delete account (visible when you are signed in) permanently deletes your sign-in and every row you own in our database: workspaces, subjects, notes, assignments, exams, revision cards, planner sessions, materials, group memberships and preferences. It happens immediately and cascades, so nothing you own is left behind in the live system. Groups you created are removed with you; content you shared into someone else’s space is removed with your account but copies other members already made are theirs.
What is not removed straight away
- Trash. Items you delete one by one stay in trash for 30 days so a mistake can be undone, then are purged.
- Backups. The operator keeps periodic private backups for disaster recovery. A backup made before you deleted your account can still contain your data until newer backups replace it, normally within a few weeks. Backups are not used for anything else and are not restored just to bring a deleted account back.
- Service providers. Our providers may keep short-lived technical logs under their own policies.
- Anonymous counts. Visit totals do not describe you and cannot be removed individually.
If you cannot do it yourself
Email mrinalsinghraja@gmail.com from the address on your account, or have a parent or guardian write if you are under 18. Tell us what to delete. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and complete the request within 15 days.
Your other rights
You may also ask us to correct your data or tell you what we hold. See the Privacy Policy.
